To Select The Best,

I purchased an ex-race horse from an auction barn and brought him home in April, 1996. When I started practicing ring work with Moses, while up in the saddle I kept hearing this snapping, cracking noise. I immediately dismounted and began walking him around noticing that the cracking noise was coming from his back legs. I stopped him and asked him to back up, the cracking noise got even worse. I feared the worst and called my vet. He said it was common for ex-race horses to have leg problems and that he should be good for a few years and to think about the option of injecting him with joint lubricants. I thought… "no way" I want to try something more natural before I have him stuck with needles for the rest of his life. I researched different joint supplements and chose Nu-Flex Maximizer. Within one month, Moses’ back legs stopped cracking and his attitude actually improved while doing ring work.

In 1997, Moses was sent away to my trainer for a year to qualify for the Quarter Horse World Show. I brought him home in the spring of 1998 and began riding him once again.
The same thing happen as in 1996. While in the saddle I heard the cracking noises. I dismounted, put him away and went directly to my feed store to pick up Nu-Flex Maximizer and Nu-Flex. I am happy to report that the cracking has ceased! No expensive needle piercing injections for my horse. I think any horse would rather be treated pain free to be pain free, than have needle jabbed into their legs.

I am not one to easily believe in products, finding it near impossible for a certain product to target a specific area of a horse’s body. My history with supplements and their claims, well lets just say I didn’t have the same results that the company claimed their products would produce. However, after purchasing the Select products and dealing with their friendly representatives, I have become a very loyal customer and will be for life. The product does what it claims, no ifs, ands, or buts. It works….period! My horse is a perfect example of that. I had a question on the CS-Pure and emailed Select with a question. Within the week, I had a representative call me at home! Now that’s service!!

Thank you Select for making such a wonderful product, and making my horse live pain free.

To Select The Best,

I wanted to write to tell you how my horse Jesse has improved after using PowerFlex. Jesse is my 26-year-old Quarter Horse. In May 2000, he became stiff and lame rather suddenly. The vet diagnosed arthritis in all knees and carpal tunnel syndrome just below his left front knee. I tried bute and aspirin for pain relief, and yucca as an herbal supplement, but by the fall he had shown no improvement.

That's when I started using PowerFlex. First I noticed how easy it was to dose and administer, and how much Jesse liked it. Shortly thereafter I noticed improvement in his overall flexibility, though he was still lame on his left front. That took a few more months to "fix"... around April of this year, he became totally sound and has not taken a lame step since.

The extra comfort and flexibility helped him a lot in April when he became stuck in an irrigation ditch at the stable where I board him, requiring an emergency rescue. (See photo...) He was stiff and swollen for about a week after that ordeal, but returned to health quickly with no adverse effects.

I'm also including a picture taken this past weekend, as he tore around the ring enjoying crisp, early-fall weather. He is rideable and, in fact, is a handful again!

Thanks for this great product!

Sincerely,
Joanne O.

To Select The Best,

I am not one to write to companies regarding my likes or dislikes of products until I tried your product Nu-Flex. My husband has a 12 year old quarter horse mare named Murphy. He uses Murphy primarily as a heel horse in team roping. The entire time he has owned Murphy she has had a tendency to go lame on one of her back legs. When my husband and I got together I had my vet (he is a specialist with leg injuries/rope horses) do an exam on this leg. He diagnosed it as being an arthritic condition, old age problem. All we could do for her was to "bute" her before a roping. I did not like the idea but what else could we do, I hated to see her limp for days after my husband used her and he too was frustrated because he could not plan to use her every weekend because of her leg condition.

I belong to the National Barrel Horse association and in a flyer I received from them they recommended Nu-Flex for anyone who races barrel horses because of the ingredients in it makes the joints more lubricated. I decided to try some for my horse and in the back of mind I thought, I wondered if this would help Murphy.

I followed the directions and started using the products on both of our horses. Within two months of using Nu-Flex, my husband took Murphy to a cattle round-up, which would make Murphy go up and down hills, run through rivers and pack my 225 lbs husband around all at the same time. He had expected her to go lame that afternoon or the next day. To both of our surprise, she had no problems! He has since used her team roping and along with her not going lame he even thinks that she runs more smoothly. Our farrier has even commented that she is not so stiff in her back end when he goes to shoe her.

The story should end here but it doesn't. We have a 10 year old McNab dog who has a back hock joint that is inflamed and sore due to an injury. She has been on the prescription drug Cosquin for 10 months now taking 3 tablets a day. The swelling has gone down a small amount. I decided to try giving Suzy the Nu-Flex along with the Cosequin and see if we can eliminate that expensive drug. After ten days the swelling has gone down even more then the Cosequin alone and we have begun backing off of the Cosquin with no problems. Suzy is playing like a puppy now!!

I have told quite a few people about your wonderful product and all the success that we have had. We just wanted to let you know that my husband wants to thank you for giving him back his rope horse and I want to express my extreme joy for making both my animals happy. A huge load has been lifted off my shoulders knowing that my animals are having a better quality of life.

Sincerely,
Maureen and Brian Scarbery

We have a 13 year old Appaloosa gelding that was having some arthritic problems during the peak of the 1997 show season. After trying many different things: new shoeing, more exercise, etc. we chose to put him on the Nu-Flex product made by your company. To make a long story short, this horse “DIAL A ROCK “and his rider, Cheri Greves Renner, won the national year end high point titles in Novice Non pro Showmanship, Western Horsemanship, Hunt Seat, and Hunt Seat Equitation, and they were second in the nation in Western Pleasure. We feel that your product, had a great deal to
do with keeping him sound and fresh. Your product enabled our daughter to fulfill a lifetime dream of winning a national title.

Thank you,

To Select The Best,

I just wanted to thank you for sharing your fine product, Nu-Flex. Rif eats it readily and seems to be doing well so far. He had an abscess in his foot a few weeks ago. The vet said she thought it healed very fast and that the Yucca helped.
I hope you like the pictures. You can see what a great looking horse Rif is at 15 and after 4500 endurance miles. Hoping your product will help me keep him that way for years to come

Sincerely,
Judy Van Meter

To Select The Best,

My barrel horses, 5 and 7 year old paints are running good times and they are in the money. Since I put them on Select Nu-Flex their running a whole second faster! They have freer movement and no stiffness. Their times and performance have improved dramatically. They will defiantly be on Nu-Flex from now on.

To Select The Best,

Thank you so very much for letting me try Nu-Flex. Ginger, my twenty-eight year old mare has suffered with arthritis for years. She has been on two to four phenol butazone tablets daily during the winter. Summers have been particularly hard on her, between the heat and the pain.
I started her on Nu-Flex three weeks ago. She is moving much better and I haven’t had to give her pheno butazone before the shoer comes (it was hard for her to hold up her feet). During this three week period, Ginger injured her left knee, causing it to swell. She experienced minimal discomfort from this injury, due in part to the Nu-Flex. I plan to start exercising her lightly in a couple weeks, something I would not have considered had I not tried Nu-Flex.

Thank you again

To Select The Best,

It was really nice meeting you at the congress. Eli was so excited about sharing the results of his science project with you. He did use his show horse “Gator” (Satan’s Anxiety} in the study. The Nu-Flex made a significant difference in his performance. Currently Eli is qualifying for the Youth World in trail. He needs only 6 more points. He is also excited about our trainer qualifying his horse for senior trail at the World. Your products are wonderful and once you use them they become a standard for a horse’s nutrition & health. Keep up the good work developing wonderful supplements.
Sincerely

To Select The Best,

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And my horses prove that. Having hauled all over the country and jumping hundreds of fences, my horses have always performed at their best thanks to Nu-Flex Maximizer & Nu-Hoof Maximizer. Whether we’re showing in Florida or competing in New York, my horses have won consistently keeping them at the top of the standings. Even after being on the road all year the Select supplements have kept my horses at their peak. When your horse has to perform at its best, Select the Best. It’s a key component of our winning program.

To Select The Best,

Your products have been included in my feeding program for awhile now and I have been impressed with the results. For the past few months I have been using the Nu-Flex Maximizer on the horses in training and have noticed improvement in their flexibility and movement. Nu-Flex Maximizer doesn’t affect the hair in any kind of negative way, if anything it works well with the Nu-Image that we also use.

I feel this is a great product to use in protecting the horse’s joints while working them for show. I use Nu-Flex Max on my daughters youth performance horse. He’s an older gelding that has benefited from the joint lubricant. After a long weekend of events we don’t have any problems with soreness. The best thing about Nu-Flex Maximizer is that it is all natural and there is no worry about it testing at a show or adverse side effects to any of the horses.

Thanks

To Select The Best,

At an auction barn to my horror I saw a very large man on top of a small horse that could barely carry him. He was beating the horse on the head because he would not trot or lope, thinking the horse was just, as he put it, a stubborn nag. I was outraged and spoke up very loudly about this fact, threatening to contact the animal control people to report his abuse. He told me if I did not like it to just take the darn horse. So in that instant I did. I started walking down the road with the horse trailing beside me, in the dark, crying and worried as, to what I would do. I lived in an apartment fifty miles away, no barn, no truck, no trailer, nothing. At this point a truck towing a trailer pulled up beside me, having heard the argument at the barn, he offered to help. We loaded the horse and took him to a friend’s farm, who welcomed us. He would not take any money for his efforts. My new friend would be called “Cowboy’s Dream". I realized quickly that Cowboy was very lame. After a vet exam we discovered he had navicular so bad the vet thought he could have been born with it. Nine years of special shoeing, medications and patients and Cowboy is still with me. About four years ago I met a representative from Select. He explained about the product Nu-Flex to me. He told me to use it and if you do not see any changes in thirty days I'll refund your money. Cowboy could not reach because of the pain it caused him from, the tendon riding over the rough navicular bone. He had only trotted occasionally with no one on his back. Within one month he was going up and down hills without effort. Four years have gone by now and this little horse who was so abused can run and play with the rest of our horse family. Early this spring we were riding up a hill and Cowboy began to lope with me on his back. I cried with joy, this was the first time he had ever loped with me on his back. He has truly been a trooper and his patience have been remarkable. Cowboy is now twenty years young and enjoys himself daily without drugs for pain and blood thinners. The only supplement he needs is the Nu-Flex Maximizer which he gets with his grain one time daily. Cowboy could not be more thankful for my efforts, every day he calls to me when he sees me, he puts his head on top of mine when I go into his stall then rests it on my shoulder as if to thank me. Thank you Select Nu-Flex!

To Select The Best,

First let me apologize for taking so long to get this letter off to you. I talked to you at the Equine Affaire in Pomona, CA. You were kind enough to offer to send a pint sample of your Power Flex for a rescue horse that we help support. Ajax is a 27 year old gelding. He has been so sore that the shoer literally had to get on his knees to trim his feet. I followed the directions and started with the loading dose. I then continued on a maintenance dose. The weather has been so bad in California that it was not possible to assess his condition until lately. A few days ago we put Ajax out in the arena to play. You should have seen him run and play!! He has not moved that quickly in a long time. He truly acted like he felt good!! You also recommended I try MSM on my senior mare, which I did. This product did not give her the same relief that the Glucosamine product did that I had her on. After seeing the results of the Power Flex on Ajax, I will try it on her. I also followed your recommendation and put my 3 year old and my yearling on the Guardian. Thank you for your guidance and your generosity for the sample.

Sincerely,
Vickie Robertson
To Select The Best,

I met you at the equine affair in Pomona, Ca. last February when I bought a 10 lbs. bucket of Power-Flex Pellets. You told me to mail you my receipt and you’d send me a 5lbs. bucket if I liked the results.
I took my 20 year old gelding to the America West Western Regional Finals in Tulare, Ca. a couple of weeks ago and he won the Reserve Champion buckle in the second division. I thought that was pretty good considering there was close to 400 entries and the only supplement he was getting was the Power-Flex Pellets. I haven’t injected his hocks for two years and he hasn’t had any of the other synovial fluid injections (Adequan, legend, etc.) So I guess I’m pretty happy with the results!!

I'm refilling my order for the Nu-Flex Maximizer with Ester-C. You should see how great my 20 year old horse looks now. He is a walking, trotting and cantering advertisement for your product.

To Select The Best,

My horse Mover has been quite the mover until 4 years ago, when he turned 18. Somehow he had damaged the sinovial tissues in his back fetlock and he was very swollen and lame. Although the vet had helped me reduced the swelling it was still very noticeable but at least he was sound.
Then he was lame on his front end and he was diagnosed with arthritis. I decided to shop around for a Glucosamine product, since this is what I take for my arthritic hips, and I have no symptoms at all! After shopping around comparing prices and ingredients, I decided to go with Nu-Flex Maximizer, as I figured it gave me the most bang for the buck. I had never tried a Select product before.
On the 27th day, he rode sound !! The swelling in his hind fetlock has reduced so much after 6 months on the product that you can barely tell that there's any swelling at all. Now I feed a daily maintenance scoop. He is 22 now, and can gallop like a 4 year old on a trail ride and shows no sign of lameness. He even throws in the odd buck. He felt much older at 18 !
I'm so happy your product gave Mover back his name ! 3 weeks ago I started a 12 year old arthritic pony on this product and he's trotting sound this week as well. Don't quit making your product- PLEASE!

Power Flex is wonderful. It really seemed to work well on Skeeter who has DSLD. It started working in just a few days! He loves the taste of it and will devour his grain with the Power Flex on it. Thank you for a product that will help him maintain a long and pain free life! You've given me new hope for Skeeters future!
